Windows Mobile 5.0 Installation

To begin the installation of the IQMax application suite, insert the SD/MMC card into the SD/MMC card slot located at top of device.

Once the SD/MMC Card is inserted into the device, the following screen will prompt for a Yes/No to permit the autorun.exe application to launch. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.

- The screen will then display “Initializing Please Wait…”.

The device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit the IQDBfileDLLARM.dll to execute. Select the Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.

The Device will then prompt for Yes/No to update the software. Select the Yes button on the dialog.

The device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit the IQUdate.exe to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.

The screen will then display “…Installing files”.

The device will then present a dialog stating “Timed out waiting for IQDesk to shutdown.” Select the OK button on the dialog. This will return the device to the “Today” screen.

Tap “Start”, and then “Programs.” At the “Programs” display select “File Explorer.” Once “File Explorer” is active, tap the drop-down menu “My Documents” and then select “My Device.” Select the “IQMax” directory.

Select the “IQUpdate” item in the folder.

The screen will then display “…Installing files”.

The device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit the IQServices.dll to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.

The device will then present the option to set a “Hot Button” to launch the IQDesk application. If you would like to assign a button to launch the application please select it now, by depressing the button you wish to assign. If you do not wish to assign a “Hot Button” select “Cancel”.

The device will now present a dialog stating “IQDesk has modified the system settings. The device will now reset.” Select the “ok” button to reset the device.

When the device resets, the device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit the IQServices.dll to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.

If the IQDesk application has been configured to require a login the “User Login” dialog will be displayed. Please enter your IQDesk Username and Password and select “Login.” If your device does not prompt for a User ID and Password, please continue to Step 17.

The IQDesk screen will now be displayed.

Post Installation Notes
The first time the device is powered off and then on, the device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit IQWakeUp.exe to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.
The first time the device is soft-reset, the device will prompt for a Yes/No to permit IQPrerun.exe to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.
Additional Application Permission Requirements
When the “Dictate” button on the IQDesk screen is selected for the first time, the device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit the IQSpeak.exe to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.
When the “Sync” button on the IQDesk screen is selected for the first time, the device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit IQIPSYNC.exe to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen.
When the “Charge” button on the IQDesk screen is selected for the first time, the device then will prompt for a Yes/No to permit IQCHARGE.EXE to execute. Select the “Yes” option, at the bottom left corner of the screen
