Mobile Healthcare Blog | IQMax Participates in North Carolina State Task Force on HIT

IQMax is pleased to announce its participation in the North Carolina Health Information Technology Strategic Planning Task Force created by Governor Beverly Perdue’s Office. The Task Force is looking into how healthcare technology can connect the various stakeholders within the healthcare community in order to improve healthcare quality and lower healthcare costs for residents across the state.
“Technology is making the healthcare system more efficient, cost effective, and is allowing for improved quality of care for patients. IQMax is pleased to participate in this Task Force. Limited health information exchange and disconnected healthcare facilities are inflating healthcare costs in the state and hindering patient care activities. IQMax has experience in connecting healthcare facilities and healthcare providers to deliver better care to patients”, said Allen Thomas, Director of External Affairs at IQMax.
IQMax’s Health Information Exchange platform allows healthcare facilities to share and exchange patient information and clinical data, allowing care providers to access a single patient medical record across different healthcare facilities and in diverse care environments. The IQMax platform goes beyond just providing for health information exchange. It also provides caregivers with a suite of healthcare applications that enable them to digitally dictate patient notes, capture billable charges, and view lab results, medications, allergies, radiology, pathology, and transcribed reports for their patients, so that all patient information is viewed within the context of their daily workflows.
IQMax technology solutions enable disconnected stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem to become connected, sharing health information in a secure environment and enabling care providers to deliver a higher quality of care to patients, while lowering costs throughout the healthcare system.
