IQMax is pleased to announce that its Chief Architect, Chris Updegraft, has been nominated to Microsoft’s Developer Advisory Council. The DAC is an advisory board that consists of enterprise/line of business focused ISVs and enterprise customers.

The DAC will focus exclusively on technology and the issues and opportunities presented by the Windows Mobile platform as a development platform and cornerstone of mobility architecture. To this end, the DAC will be a forum for enterprise developers and architects and the Windows Mobile product teams to share and collaborate, solve technical problems, and provide insight and input into future Windows Mobile releases.

“We are pleased to welcome Chris Updegraft from IQMax to the Developer Advisory Council,” said Steve Hegenderfer, Group Product Manager at Microsoft Corp. “Feedback from our partners about what’s important to mobile developers and architects is important to our product cycle, which is why the Council was created. We value Chris’s participation and his insights to the Council and product groups.”

IQMax is a leading ISV within healthcare, leveraging Microsoft technologies to enable physicians and other caregivers to improve their productivity, simplify their daily workflow, and render better patient care using their Windows Mobile devicephones. IQMax’s sophisticated platform allows caregivers to view patient schedules and census lists, dictate and document patient visits, capture charges, and view clinical and patient information at the point of care.

“It is a distinct honor to be chosen by Microsoft to serve on this council. IQMax’s mobile healthcare solutions are built on Microsoft’s technology platforms, and leverage the Microsoft mobility stack. I look forward to working with the Windows Mobile product team in this advisory role”, said Chris Updegraft, Chief Architect at IQMax.
